Degree of a polynomial - The degree of a polynomial is the largest exponents or the largest sum of exponents of all the variables.
example :
The degree of x^3 + 4x is 3
The degree of a^2 b^3 + ab + 6 is 5 ( which is the largest sum of exponents of all the variables 2+3 = 5 )
