Bhopal Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan has said that cleanliness is most important for a disease-free healthy life and for this we have to start from ourselves and make every person of the society aware of cleanliness. Corporation Commissioner Narayan expressed these views while giving a special lecture organized on the topic of “Cleanliness and Health and Prevention of Diseases” under Swachhta Pakhwada at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. On this occasion, Narayan was honored by the museum officials by presenting him a memento. Before this, Narayan also visited the photo exhibition related to cleanliness and environment. On this occasion, Director of the Museum Prof. Amitabh Pandey and other officers and distinguished citizens were present.
Cleanliness Fortnight is being celebrated from 16th April 2024 on the occasion of National Heritage Day at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, operated on Shyamala Hill of the capital Bhopal under the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India. A special lecture was organized on Thursday evening under this fortnight which will run till 30 April 2024. While giving his lecture on the topic “Cleanliness and Health and Prevention of Diseases”, Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan said that cleanliness is most important for human health. Where there is cleanliness, the environment will also remain pure and there will be no possibility of diseases spreading.
Narayan said that we have to include cleanliness in our habit and for this, starting with ourselves, we should keep our house, street, locality, workplace and city clean and inspire others to do the same. Narayan said that if we maintain cleanliness then there will be no dirt, if there is no dirt then insects and disease spreading germs will not be around us and our society will remain healthy.

Aligarh. There was a commotion in the wedding house in Atrauli police station area when a fire broke out due to the burst pipe of a gas cylinder. The fire took a fierce form and engulfed three people and they got seriously burnt. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
