– Ultimatum to clean Sarona trenching ground within 5 days

Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra directed to clean 5 acres out of 24 acres of Sarona Treaching Ground, the old garbage storage place of the city, which could not be cleaned within 5 days. He also gave an ultimatum to take action if the cleaning was not done. Actually, there is 24 acres of land owned by the corporation in Sarona Taching Ground. The entire city's waste was being dumped at this very place. After construction of a new trenching ground in Sankari, garbage collection at this place was stopped. Along with this, the process of separating the waste that has become compost was started at this place.
In this process, 19 out of 24 acre area was made garbage free. About 5 acres of area is still filled with various types of garbage. These also include solid waste. Arun Dhruv, Commissioner of Zone No. 8 of the Corporation, said that Corporation Commissioner Mr. Mishra had inspected this place recently and had given instructions to remove the soil and waste that had been converted into manure from here. Today he again reached there and instructed the officials to remove the manure from there and make the place eco-friendly within 5 days. Along with him, Additional Commissioner of the Corporation Vinod Pandey, Executive Engineer of Swasth Bharat Abhiyan, Raghumani Pradhan, Yogesh Kadu and Zone Commissioner of Zone No. 8 Arun Dhruv and other officials were also present.
